Yoga Mom of the Month - March 2024
Ambar Gingerelli | FEB 29, 2024
I'm so excited to introduce a new monthly feature - our Yoga Mom of the Month!
Each month, I'll be featuring one of the moms from our Yoga With Littles community and sharing a little bit about their yoga and motherhood journey. My hope is that this helps to celebrate all of the amazing moms that come to our mommy and me yoga classes, and helps us all see that we are so much more alike than we realize!

Corinne and her son, John were our very first yoga students when we started mommy + me yoga classes at Little Chicken in January 2022!

They joined us for baby yoga throughout John's first year of life and then graduated to toddler yoga! They have been practicing yoga with us for over 2 years now. Corinne's daughter, Emilia joined the family this past summer and has now joined us for a few baby yoga classes as well.

Corinne is such a wonderful mom raising her little tribe of yogis!
We had a chance to interview Corinne about her experience at Yoga With Littles classes. Keep reading to hear what she had to share! :)

Q: What's your HIGH of being a mom right now? (What's going really well in life and motherhood?)
A: It’s been wonderful being able to watch my babies interact with and love one another. I’m so proud of John for how caring and gentle he is with Emilia. John has been a big fan of doing tummy time with Emilia and showing her how to keep her head up.
Q: What's your LOW of being a mom right now? (What's your biggest challenge in life and motherhood?)
A: It’s definitely exhausting taking care of both kids at once. They both need me in such different ways.
Q: What do you LOVE about coming to mommy and me yoga?
A: I love the way my baby is focused on me during the baby yoga classes. My son loved going to these baby classes, and now my daughter Emilia is enjoying our time together too. It’s so sweet to look down at them and see them smiling and giggling.
During the toddler class, I love to see my son happy and enjoying himself. He loves to dance and listen to music, and he also follows along with the program and knows all of the moves.
My favorite part of class is the end when the parent and toddler snuggle up together and listen to “you are my sunshine”. I’m always surprised that John is willing to unwind from all of the fun and spend some 1:1 quiet time with me.

Q: Are there any positive changes that you've noticed in yourself and/or your little ones from coming to yoga?
A: Most of our parent and toddler friends are from the friends we made at yoga class. Having a group of moms who you see often and can relate to you has been wonderful to experience. I truly do believe that my mom friends have made my life better.

THANK YOU CORINNE FOR BEING SUCH AN AMAZING PART OF OUR YOGA WITH LITTLES COMMUNITY! We love seeing you and your family learn and grow through yoga each week and are so grateful our paths have crossed. John and Emilia are so lucky to have you and so are we! :)
